Hi, I’m Frankie
I am a BACP-registered counsellor (MBACP), and UKCP registered trainee integrative psychotherapist practicing in Oxfordshire.
Considering therapy?
You might be here because something doesn’t feel quite right, or because you’re wondering whether therapy could be helpful.
Either way, if you would like to - you’re very welcome to take your time to look around (and ask me any questions you may have!).
I am experienced in supporting a diverse range of experiences, and my practice focuses on supporting queer and/or neurodivergent individuals.
I also work with themes around identity, purpose, media and relationships. Most importantly, however, I work with whatever is going on for you.
My Practice
-
Without making assumptions about your situation, it's worth acknowledging that we are increasingly facing numerous and increasing social stressors - eco-anxiety, the pressures of digital culture, generational career crisis, the cost of living (to name a few). People will be affected differently by the current climate.
Therapy may be something you have considered for a while, or tried before - or not. Sometimes a therapeutic journey starts with a sense of anxiety, or of feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or noticing patterns in your life that don't seem to shift - whether that's in work, relationships, in how you think about yourself, or in how you respond when things are difficult. Talking about these things can feel complex, especially if you're used to managing them on your own.
Whatever your circumstances, counselling can be a space to share your story, and to be heard. It can be a space to think, with a supportive other, about what you might need, and what you might like to do differently.
Sometimes sharing one’s difficulties with another person can be profoundly helpful in finding a way forward.
My role is to provide an experienced, kind, genuine and trauma-informed space to take things step by step, making sense of what's been happening in your life, and working collaboratively towards something that feels more like you.
I believe in building supportive relationships that facilitate insight, ease and growth, combining creativity, experience, person-centredness and a trauma-informed practice to do so.

I am a queer therapist, and offer queer, kink and poly-affirming and informed practice. I aim to work in a way that doesn’t rely on assumptions about identity, relationships, or experience.

Neurodivergence can shape needs and experiences significantly. I often work with neurodivergent individuals, particularly Autistic and ADHD individuals. My approach is informed by both professional training and my own lived experience of neurodivergence, which helps me bring both understanding and nuance to the work.
When working with neurodivergent individuals, I consider accessibility, needs profiles and how someone’s neurodivergence might shape their experience of being in the world (including relationships, jobs, home, and someone’s sense of themselves).

Beyond counselling, I have nine years' full-time experience working relationally and in caring roles across various settings, including residential care, education, supported housing, youth and grassroots organisations, and I possess extensive trauma-informed care experience. I have several years of coaching, mentoring and psychoeducation experience.

I hold a BSc in Psychology from the University of Reading, a Foundation Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Regents University, and a PgCert (L5) and PgDip (L6) equivalent and MSc (L7) in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Warwick.
I am trained in Safeguarding to DSL level (L3), and have trained in dyadic developmental (L1) and trauma-informed practice.
